Born and raised in Delhi, Sahil Jindal represents the legacy and innovative spirit of the Jindal family. After completing his schooling in Delhi, he pursued higher education in London, earning a BBA and MBA, equipping himself with global insights and business acumen.
In 2003, Sahil joined the family business as the third-generation entrepreneur of the esteemed Jindal Group, founded by his grandfather, Debi Sahai Jindal. A Padma Shri awardee and a pioneer in the steel industry, Debi Sahai Jindal laid the foundation for what would become a powerhouse of innovation and excellence in steel and beyond. Inspired by his grandfather’s vision and values, Sahil sought
to leave his own mark on the group’s legacy.
Breaking away from the traditional steel business, Sahil took on the challenge of venturing into the plastic pipes industry—a bold move that brought new opportunities to the group. Under his leadership, the plastic pipes division flourished, earning recognition for its quality and innovation. Over the years, Sahil
expanded the group’s footprint into diverse industries, including GFRP rebars, LED lighting, cement, skincare, and more.
Recognised multiple times for his contributions to the industry, Sahil credits his success to hard work, adaptability, and his unwavering belief in the mantra: “The road to success is always under construction.”
Beyond the professional pursuits, he held leadership roles in esteemed organisations, including EO Noida, where he served as President and Retreat Chair.
Sahil believes in giving back to society and to honour his grandfather’s legacy, he established the DS Jindal Foundation, focusing on philanthropic initiatives that uplift communities and drive positive change and is deeply invested in it.
A passionate traveler, Sahil’s work and leisure take him around the globe, where he draws inspiration from new cultures and perspectives. An advocate for the power of relationships, he emphasises networking as a cornerstone of personal and professional growth.
